holiday planning part 1

tommorrow is the first day of my final exam, but....

as batman said in Dark Knight:

Night is getting darker before the sun comes up (or something like that;)
or in Indonesian proverb " Habis gelap terbitlah terang."

..meansss after those hectic exams (that requires me to write pages over pages and draining out my brain capacity), there comes the HOLIDAYYYY!

ummm, actually i'm planning to purchase a sewing machine, the small one.

and then i'm gonna reconstruct many of my outfits. hahahaha *BIG laugh*

ummm, i got this wish list after watching PROJECT RUNWAY.

weeewwww. i want to sew this that and bla3x. hihihi.

1. superrrrb skirt
2. re-construct my 'jutaan-umat-punya' dress, which is souvenir from Bali. hahaha, u know the batik dress. but still, i love the pattern soooo much:)
3. make head-band from satin fabric
4. etc etc.

god, now i imagine Fashion Week. *weew, back to reality....*

okaaayyyyyyyyyy.
one thing that is important:

wish me luck for my persistent since i may give up if i fail on my 1st experiment.

enterpreneur or professional?

the title above might be a basic question for me and many other scholars that majoring business administration.
enterprenur or professional?
many read that question as: self freedom or security?
in my opinion:

rather than being an enterpreneur, i'd prefer be a professional.

career path is one of my concerns, but since this is not a serious blog, i'd like to tell u the truth.

the main reason for me is.......

but please don't laugh out LOUD.

i want to wear those sophisticated working outfit as following:

- pencil skirts
- waisty belt
- well-constructed (read as premium) handbag
- french twist
- and last but DEFINETELY not the least: the HEELS

goshh i love high heels for these reasons:
1. it's a symbol of POWER in feminine and yet very sophisticated way.
2. make my legs look way soooo beyond!
3. significantly boost up my outfit to three levels higher
ok, so these following pics will tell much about what i'm gonna wear to office:

harga menentukan prestasi???

first lesson:

- in final exam: position define grade (posisi menentukan prestasi)
- in shopping: is the same principle also applicable to fashion items?

i was at plaza senayan when i saw that gorgeous beige-goldish dress.
and i automatically approached the rack.
at a glance, i felt in love with that dress and that wohooo thing seemed to be screaming at me:
"take me home baby, take me home!" i replied, "yes, honey. i will. i will."

then i inspected the price tag, and *wak wak waaaaw backsound*: IDR 1.7 mios.

oh no baby. bye bye bye!

quick fix

wake up late due to tons of assignments?
dull skin and baggy eyes.
this is definetely a disaster if u got a presentation in just another hour.

well, this is my tips for quick fix.
highly recommended for everyday implementation:

- create ur own tinted-moisturizer.

how-to:
1. mix equal part (or depends on your coverage needs) of moisturizer and foundie.
i usually use 'TheBody Shop Vitamin C Day Moisturizer' with some Clinique liquid foundie or Kryolan Foundie Stick.
2. apply the mixture onto ur face & neck. also mention ur under eye & eyelid. just a bit to have even tone on the whole face;)

- loose powder!!!
apply with great brush. and there u go.

- highlight the upper eyelid and inner trim of your eyes with shimmer.

this wooorrrkkkk rilly well to enhance and fix ur tired eyes

- blush on and lip gloss

yup yup yup.

that's all. less than 15 mins right??

then style ur hair in loose bun setting.
put on a glitzy accessories.

put a BIG smile and ppl wont notice that u are restless.
hahahaahahahaaaa.

:)

well, the funny truth is that i already know this know how since ages ago
but when i wake up in the morning and found out that i got those dull look.
i'm way toooo lazzyyy to fix it. huaaaahhhhhhh.

but still, trust me if this works reaallllyyyyy well:)

Belt it up

Yup yup, this is one of the trend that I love most, belt! Why? Because it is effortlessly chic and could flaunt your body curve instantly. Here are some trend spotting from runway, slip belt on and you just boost your style from ordinary into va-la-la-voom! ;) *wink*

(left to right: Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Jonathan Saunders, Gianfranco Ferre, all collection of Spring 2008)
These things come from runway, what about our way?

(source: elle.com; style.com)
These gorgeous ladies just really know how to get the spot light. Put the righty mighty belt and they became the center of attraction. First picture: see how Cameron Diaz put her bold black bow belt that emphasizes her body curve and make her outfit distinctive. Second picture: red as accent. Bold but not screaming too much for attention. She wore red at very right proportion.
