thank God the garage sale is pretty successful.;)

i was quite surprised with enthusiasm of the girls, they did shop a lot!

yes, one very big bag of fashion stuffs for each of those adorable lady! weew.

oh well, too bad i cudn't buy this cute giraffe dress cus a very nice boy bought this for his GF. au revoir ma robe. hehehe.

and now i'm craving for chinese chicken salad.
maybe tomorrow i'll make myself some:)

dragon balls, jumbo dragon roll and day dreaming

ahaha, the film was surprisingly pretty good.
well, i thought the film wud be boring or a bit trashy, but it turned to be otherwise.
but i didn't like flow of the story, not smooth and anti climax at a third last part.

and oh, just a random thought..
when we're going to save ur work at MS Office, we hit the floppy disk icon at upper left corner of the LCD rite? but have u seen this stuff lately? hahaha, i must admit that i haven't seen that for years. i wonder if a century from now, young ppl wud ask a question like " what's actually the meaning of the save icon? is that a big building with door or...?"

so, they'll open wikipedia (or any other famous encyclopedia at the future) and maybe found this statement:

" save toolbar icon is a floppy disk, an ancient storing device that was popular hundred years ago. the capacity for its 1.44" size was less than 1 MB, very contrast if compared with nowadays storing device with no bigger size than a needle that cud store up to 1000 TB"

and i imagine that the advertising is no longer in 2D, but in 3D instead.
just like in star wars film! wowww.

owwwh, and the best part at that time is we don't buy hard copy fashion magazine anymore. instead, we buy latest issue's softcopy on web or nearest 'lapak majalah'.
download it to our own e-book and voilaaaa, we'll be able not just to read and see pics, but also to watch 3-D fashion show!!! x)

inventory management

this SUNday and MONday i'm gonna make this bazaar at BSD.
in preparation stage, i found out several interesting facts:

- girls can't control theirselves as soon as they hear SALE word!
the basic principle is: "great opportunities don't come twice"
- shopaholics don't wear things twice
... simply cus they got tons (literally) of stuffs to be worn
- let's do the math...
there are around 20-30 suppliers. in average, each got as 60 consignee stuffs; therefore, there will be 1200-1800 stuffs in my garage sale. and woowww, it's gonna be a hard inventory management. you know, to pack things up based on the owners, match sales list with the inventory list, ship them back to their owners, pay each supplier, etc etc.

oh eniweyyyyyyyyy, i'm craving for seafood hahahaha

finally, weekend's coming. :) errr, wait, i got my flexible hour working time, so it's weekend (almost) everyday!!! hahaha. hey, but the funny things is, deep inside i'm missing my daily routine much althou some ppl envy my super flexi working time. hahahaha.

ohhh, i just found out this super cute dress at elle.com and i instantly fell in love with it.
maybe tommorow i'll drop myself to gramedia and buy some pentel's fabric crayons. hihihi, i once bought it, back in my high school time. oh, it was awesome! i used it to decorate my super plain giordano canvas bag and my white shirt. hihihi:) x) me likeeyyy it. (oh, but please take a note that after several washes, the colours may fade away) hiks


i love making my very own fashion stuffs. unfortunately, those kind of DIY tools are a bit expensive here. for example, at kidz station and toys city a tiny package of a mini knitter would cost u as much as IDR 500,000.


obviously, under the option of make-or-buy, it's is much cheaper to buy! no wonder that not much ppl would supply those DIY things because the demand is also low.


but thank-god, there is a traditional market called mayestik in my town where i cud find most of my crafting supplies :) x)

these feet belong to a 9 years old kid from Indonesia who write an absolutely cute fashion blog. a combination of a very cute model, nice styling, and great photography aspect! please click on the pic for the link. awwww, elle est tres mignon.


i wonder where she learned about fashion trend (her sister is her big influencer i guess??) i mean, she wears leather jacket, fringe details, boots, aviator glasses, stockings, latex legging, and those current it things.

final project

just a quick update, the 1st seminar will be coming in another 30 days.

hopefully everything's gonna be okay:) owwh, and have i told u before that i somehow  in love with my thesis? hahahaha.

basically, it's about empirical study of Economic Value Added in Indonesia for period between 2003 and 2007. my sample is 500-companies-year (100 companies within 5 years). hopefully, i cud get A for my thesis so my final GPA wud be around 3.7. 

actually, that multinational beauty company that i applied before offered me internship. but at this very moment, i don't think i cud be engaged for a job that requires me to come to the office everyday because my priority is to make this thesis really hot *hahaha* so i cud have more chance to apply for scholarship 2 or 3 years from now.

and yes, i'm planning to work for 2 years here while at the same time learning french and GMAT to pursue my MBA degree abroad. risk management sounds nice, isn't it? *oh, well maybe boring for some of u hahaha*

but i made up my mind that i'm no longer eager to join fashion industry. just two cents, i think my competence is greater in some other industries. also, i'd rather be someone who enjoy fashion from outside the industry.

the layer slayer

my mom doesn't like it when i do layering my outfit, especially when i wear something over my dress. legging over dresses, blazer over my cute camisole, jacket over my mini dress.

she said that kind of look would wrongly tell ppl that i'm not in good condition.

but urrrrm, i love layering outfit because:

1. at the same time i cud build my creativity and that out-of-box way of thinking

2. i cud take something ordinary to a whole different level

3. more mix and match alternatives

4. .... i just like it. hehehe..
